Our English book club will meet once a month on Zoom. Each time I will provide a short introduction to the book and some questions to think about in advance. We will focus on the themes and messages and discuss our impressions of the book. You are warmly encouraged to tell us why you love or can’t get along with the book and bring questions to the meetings.

We’ll read about interesting topics which lend themselves to conversation and discussion. It’s also fun to sing songs, practise everyday English and check grammar problems.

4 days of intensive training in business communication. The Focus is on business topics- virtual international meetings, cross cultural training , negotiating, selling, presentations (presentation techniques)  and case studies. To provide the best support participants are expected to share any of their topics and issues in these sessions.

Wir laden ein zum Sprachen Stammtisch Englisch jeden 1. Dienstag im Monat um 19:30 Uhr. Alle Interessierten haben die Möglichkeit, sich in lockerer Atmosphäre auf Englisch zu unterhalten. Themen und Inhalte werden von den Teilnehmenden selbst bestimmt.

In this course you will learn how to express yourself more fluently when communicating with fellow professionals - whether on the telephone, face-to-face or in writing. The focus will be on telephoning, presentations, emails and customer service and includes a variety of activities, for example, worksheets and role plays. There will also be the opportunity to look at any individual topics you specifically need in the workplace. Grammar will be looked at as required.

Applying 21st century skills (4 C's - communication, collaboration, critical-thinking and creativity), in fostering Connection. We exchange ideas while practising speaking, listening and honing our presentation skills. TED talks and YouTube clips are used as input.
