Wir laden ein zum Sprachen Stammtisch Englisch jeden 1. Dienstag im Monat um 19:30 Uhr. Alle Interessierten haben die Möglichkeit, sich in lockerer Atmosphäre auf Englisch zu unterhalten. Themen und Inhalte werden von den Teilnehmenden selbst bestimmt.

HERE WE ARE - an English language conversation “Stammtisch” We are an English language conversation group and we have been meeting for the past forty years. Should you enjoy talking in English and discussing various topics, you would be most welcome to join us. We always meet at a restaurant in the Esslingen area on a Monday evening. Do you want to brush up on your English? You may not have been using it much over the past few years but you also don't want to start from scratch? In this course, you’ll learn new vocabulary, review grammar in real contexts, and increase your fluency and confidence with English.

We are going to read about a wide selection of topics revising and extending our vocabulary as well as practising useful grammar that may need revision. In a friendly atmosphere we enjoy conversation and singing songs.

Folgende Themenschwerpunkte sind vorgesehen: - typische Sprechsituationen bei Auslandsreisen: z.B. Restaurantbesuch, Flughafen, Autovermietung, Krankheitsfall und der Umgang mit Beschwerden bzw. Problemlösung - interessante Aspekte moderner bzw. persönlicher Lebensweise (Erfahrungen, Interessen, Zukunftspläne etc.) - begleitend Grammatik.

In diesem Alter lernen Kinder Englisch so mühelos wie ihre Muttersprache. In einer kleinen Gruppe werden die Kinder behutsam an die Sprache herangeführt. Tolle Spiele, Lieder und Lernmaterialien machen den Unterricht zum Erlebnis. Bitte mitbringen: Klebestift, Farbstifte, Schere.

Es ist nie zu spät, Englisch zu lernen! Wir machen den Anfang - mit ersten Wörtern, kurzen Sätzen für den (Urlaubs-)Alltag und grundlegenden Grammatikkenntnissen. Ein Lehrbuch bildet die Grundlage, die durch abwechslungsreiche sonstige Texte und Übungen ergänzt wird. Der Kurs findet Online in einer kleinen Gruppe statt, so dass jeder aktiv mitwirkt, und richtet sich an "absolute beginners".

In diesem Kurs wiederholen wir Grammatik, diskutieren über aktuelle Themen und erweitern unsere Englischkenntnisse. Neue Teilnehmer:innen sind herzlich willkommen!

Im English Book Club lesen wir einen spannenden Krimi oder Thriller, den wir am ersten Unterrichtsabend auswählen werden, und begeben uns auf Spurensuche... Close Reading und Fragen zum Text frischen vorhandene Englischkenntnisse auf und erweitern sie. Wenn es gewünscht ist, lesen wir zwischendurch hin und wieder einen Artikel über ein interessantes Thema und/oder schauen uns ein Video an, worüber wir anschließend diskutieren.

4 days of intensive training in business communication. The Focus is on business topics- virtual international meetings, cross cultural training , negotiating, selling, presentations (presentation techniques)  and case studies. To provide the best support participants are expected to share any of their topics and issues in these sessions.

These sessions are customized to the needs and expectations of the particpicants, i.e. presentations, interaction with international teams, conflict management etc.You will benefit from interesting discussions on current global topics along with some grammar review. (Upon request)

Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Teilnehmende ohne oder mit geringen Vorkenntnissen. In kurzer Zeit erwerben Sie die wichtigsten Grundlagen der englischen Sprache für Alltag und erste Gespräche. Mit abwechslungsreichen Übungen, praktischen Beispielen und viel Freude am Lernen gewinnen Sie schnell mehr Sicherheit im Umgang mit Englisch.

In this course you will learn how to express yourself more fluently when communicating with fellow professionals - whether on the telephone, face-to-face or in writing. The focus will be on telephoning, presentations, emails and customer service and includes a variety of activities, for example, worksheets and role plays. There will also be the opportunity to look at any individual topics you specifically need in the workplace. Grammar will be looked at as required.

Das Englisch Abitur besteht nicht nur aus einer schriftlichen Prüfung, sondern beinhaltet auch die sogenannte Kommunikationsprüfung. Sich alleine auf so eine Prüfung vorzubereiten ist jedoch schwer, darum üben wir in diesem Kurs gemeinsam die wichtigsten Bestandteile der Prüfung (Monolog, Dialog) und schauen uns verschiedene Aufgabentypen an. So kann die Kommunikationsprüfung ohne Probleme gemeistert werden.
